Welcome to Palomino Equestrian Therapy Services (PETS)
Mission
Palomino Equestrian Therapy Service provides equestrian therapeutic riding services for the developmentally disabled, under served and high risk community members in Los Angeles County. We exist to assist the developmentally disabled and at-risk youth to develop the confidence and skills necessary to make a positive impact in their lives and in their community.
Palomino Equestrian Therapy Service is a 501 (c) (3) Not-for-Profit corporation
that relies on the support of the community and individuals like you.
Target
The target population includes, but is not limited to, children and adults with developmental disabilities,
high risk youth and community members seeking a better quality of life.
By combining equestrian techniques, with concepts of physical therapy, we create therapeutic riding
for the mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged individuals.
Rather than the routine of other therapies, equestrian therapy is practiced
in an atmosphere that is conducive to the profile of the client.
